The Halogen Content Management System (CMS) is the engine for the websites we develop. It can be used by our clients to update their website and add functionality.
Halogen was specifically designed to load quickly and be easy to use.
Dashboard The Dashboard offers a snapshot of your website, including the number of pages, users and uploads. It also provides links to perform common actions. |

Adding Pages Adding a page in the Halogen CMS is easy. An editor is used which makes adding content as simple as using a word processor. |

Themes The Halogen CMS uses themes to customise the look of your website. This means that new themes can be developed quickly and you can store multiple themes and move between them at any time. |

The Halogen CMS is flexible and can be expanded through the use of addons. The Light Bulb Factory has created a number of addons which display and process forms and seamlessly integrate third-party services such as Twitter, Flickr and Google Maps. Addons continue to be developed.
The Halogen CMS is regularly updated and improved and these updates will be available for download and installation to our clients. A support section of the website is also being created to provide instructions for adding content, uploading files and changing settings.
Representing hundreds of hours of programming time, the Halogen CMS is our primary software product. A license to use the software is provided to our customers, while the Halogen CMS remains the proprietary property of The Light Bulb Factory.
